Beautiful Day at the Park

Image
This is the time of year that I love living in Vegas! The weather is just gorgeous. Beautiful, perfect weather, that just makes you happy! So we went to the park. What fun!

Going to the Park

Image
It was a beautiful day so we went to the park. I was so impressed with Hunter. We haven't really ridden bikes with him often, so I was a little nervous. He did great! I was so happy for him. The rest of us followed in the wagon that my Dad made. We love the wagon! Park pictures will be posted soon, I just wanted to post about Hunter on his bike!

Important Events That I Didn't Mention Yet

Image
I can't believe that it's already the middle of November and I haven't mentioned 3 VERY important events that took place in October! The first is this cutie ! Olivia Catherine Coleman was born on October 16th. You can see some more pictures over on Sara's blog (the good Aunt that posted about her right after she was born!) Congrats to Cathy, Dwain and big brother Caleb! The second big event was that the binky fairy came to our house!!! If you haven't heard of her, let me fill you in. She is a wonderful fairy that comes to your house and will pick up all of your binkies and then gives them to babies that need them. We were also lucky that she was able to pick up Hunter's silkies too. We had the kids put all of their comfort items into a box and then magically the box was gone in the morning. It was replaced with some gifts for the kids for being so brave. Hunter got a new bakugan, Audrey a strawberry shortcake doll and Cannon a firetruck. They were thrilled and...

Proud

We are so proud of Hunter for learning his words. He's on to the next list now, but when he finished list 1 he got to go to the principal's office. He got a button and an award. We are so proud of him for working so hard and for learning so much. He wore his button everywhere for the next 3 days!

Company Picnic

Image
With all of the economic changes that are going on, I'm glad that Russell's company kept the family picnic. We all had so much fun. All the food we could eat and fun games to play. It was a fun afternoon.

Valley of Fire

Image
When my BIL's cousin was here visiting from Guatamala, we got to hang out. She is GREAT as my sister mentioned in her blog . After making a ton of jelly and sewing up a storm, I decided that she should see a little of the country that she was visiting. So we went to Valley of Fire. My kids love going there and climbing on the rocks and I like getting out of the city. We went on a looooong (1 mile)hike in loose sand, carrying kids to see basically a hole. Then we had a nice refreshing picnic and saw some of the other sights. The kids fell asleep before we even left the park. I think that Tanya had a good time. It was a beautiful day and I'm glad we took the time out of our busy schedules to go.

Baking a Pie

Image
Grandma Mitton definately had lots of helpers in the kitchen helping her with the pie baking. Audrey, Cannon and cousin Caleb were cute little chefs.

Building Day at Home Depot

We love building day at Home Depot. Usually just Russell goes, but this time I came too. The kids love it and since it's free I love it too!
