Sprinkles

Image
We were so lucky to have Grandma come over and spend some time with us. We made, decorated and ate sugar cookies! It was so much fun. We love spending time with Grandma whenever we can. Hunter and Audrey had so much fun picking out cookie cutters and making their own cookies. Then when it got to the decorating part, the more sprinkles the better!

Twilight Personality

Take the Quiz and Share Your Results! You are thoughtful and care very deeply for your family. A loving home is of great importance to you and you always try to make people feel welcome. Although you have a great capacity to love, you also have a great capacity to hurt, so at times you can be sensitive. You're firm when you need to be, but people trust your judgment and appreciate the kind way you always handle things. THE MOVIE COMES OUT TOMORROW!!!! Yes!

In the genes?

Megan and Audrey are showing some similar personality traits. Despite one living in MO and the other in NV they have a lot in common. They both have 2 older brothers. They both have 1 younger brother (Megan's will be here any day now). They both LOVE the color pink. They both like Dora. They both like accessories. They are both sweet, happy girls. In fact, I would say that they are very much girly girls. EXCEPT... When its time to play with the boys! It must be those Dobbins genes! These two cousins are a perfect match!

Triplets

Image
These three are too cute! They're like 3 peas in a pod! They love to be with Daddy and try to be just like him. I'm glad that they have such a great role model to look up to. My Sweetheart is a wonderful father and husband. I think that he has just as much fun with them as they do with him. When he left to go camping recently they both started crying. While I was telling them that it would be o.k. and that we would have fun too. Hunter sais that he could never have fun again without Daddy.

Not Mine!

I secretly went out and bought some Cadbury Creme Egss. You know, heaven on earth right? I did this in secret because I knew that my kids the chocolate eaters would eat them before I could. Well even though they didn't see me buy them, they found the bag that contained them the next morning. Of course they wanted to eat it. I grudgingly said o.k. Hunter took a bite of that yummy egg and said, "Yuck, I don't like it!" What? Are you serious? So he gave it to Audrey. Audrey then ate all of the chocolate that she could and then came to me with a hand full of 'yolk' and said "Yucky!" What? You've got to be kidding! After I washed her off, I asked Isaac if he liked Cadbury Creme Eggs. He said of course and then asked if we had any. I grudgingly said yes and gave him one. Later when I was eating my last one (I only bought 4) he asked if he could have a bite. His idea of a bite is to shove almost all of it in his mouth leaving me with a small taste. I...

T.P.ing the living room

O.k. so actually its paper towels, but it sure looks like we've been the victims of some teenagers toliet papering a house! It started out innocently enough. Audrey and Huter were carrying around the package of paper towels. I thought that's a dumb toy, but whatever. Maybe I can take a shower because they are occupied. When I got out of the shower Hunter told me that Audrey had opened the package. I didn't really think that was a big deal. I only thought oh, the fun's over and now they'll be bothering me again. Oh how wrong I was. With the paper towels now out in the open they were a lot more fun!

Chicken Nuggets

Image
Audrey LOVES to eat chicken nuggets. She'll eat them at anytime of the day. For a snack, for a meal, whenever. I guess this isn't big news, most kids like to eat chicken nuggets right? Oh, I forgot to mention that she likes them FROZEN ! In my defense, the bag says that they are fully cooked. I guess they're all right? Right?

Schedule

Image
When I got married I became the proud step-mom to a wonderful 5 year old. Over the years we have have had different schedules for him to be in our home or his mom's house. I'm not going to go into all the details, but at times its been a battle and other times a dream. Quite quickly he became "mine" and he even started calling me Mom. Fast forward to a now 12 year old and we have another "new" schedule. One that is very similar to one we've had before and his mom seems to want to cooperate which is nice. We now have him ALL week and ONE weekend a month. In the summer we will probally do a week on and a week off. He's going to 2 maybe 3 scout camps and we're going to look into BYU LaCrosse Camp. I love my boy! We are all thrilled to be able to spend more time with him.

BIG Dreams

Image
While I was doing the dishes my 5 year old said "Mom, look at this!" This is what I saw! (He's balancing the bat onto one hand.) He said that he is practicing so that he can be in a Carny! WHAT? I asked him if he knew what a Carny was and he totally did! Then I asked him where he learned that and he said that he just knew. I guess its good to know that he will be putting his talents to good use someday.

Made ya laugh!
