Sacrifices

There are many sacrifices that a scout master's wife has to make. There is all of the camping gear that must be bought and stored. There is the time he must spend on camp outs away from his family. There is the scout shorts worn with knee high socks that he wears. But most of all there is scout camp.

A week long event where the scout master leaves his wife at home with all of the children and household responsibilities to deal with herself.

This year for scout camp she had a BIG sacrifice to make. She had to give up her spacious van and fit 4 kids into the car. With 3 car seats in the back, every time we went somewhere it was a challenge. Isaac would crawl/lean into the back from the front seat to help Hunter with his seat belt. Then once we were on our way Audrey would pinch and hit Hunter, who would then yell and cry. In our squished situation this was not a fun way to drive around.Well at least it's only for a week right? And now that week is over! Hurray!
