Food Storage

Having food storage is a hard enough job. You have to gather it, find a place for it and most difficult is the rotating of it and using it.


Last night when I was cooking dinner I grabed a box of rice a roni. When I opened it I found these


Needless to say, my rotation of these food storage item ended up here

My mother has always had a problem with this too.. so I have no ideas for u.

I can rotate cans! Just not the important stuff.

Um, that's pretty disgusting. Stick to the canned goods.

Mom's coming, maybe she could help you with this. You could do something like Shawna just did.

A couple years ago, I decided to get serious about food storage and dd some research. I figured out to to seal my own super pails with oxygen absorbers and everything. I opened one recently (rice) after putting it together three years ago and it was perfect! I've meant to blog about it, but haven't yet. Maybe I will soon. Food storage is tricky!

Once I realized that I was going to have snore free nights, I was overjoyed! What I didn't count on though was my children. On Sunday Night (Mon. morning) all three of them decided that 4 AM would be a great time to wake up. Monday night, Hunter snuck into our bed for half the night until I took him back to his bed. The other half of the night Cannon was up every two hours until I let him sleep with us. Audrey actually stayed in her bed and only cried once. This brings me to last night. 11:00 PM I turn out the lights and go to bed, thinking to myself that Cannon will probably be up in an hour. 12:00 AM Cannon wakes up. I feed him. 1:00 AM I wake up, slumped over with Cannon still in my arms to Audrey screaming. I quickly put Cannon back in his bed and go see Audrey.
