Streetcar Ride

We went on a ride on a streetcar one day. It was a beautifully restored car. The ride was kinda short, but we really enjoyed ourselves. We rode to the warehouse where they are restoring some more cars. We got to see pictures of where they found the streetars and pictures of "back in the day" when they were used all the time. My Dad says that he remembers his Mom riding on a streetcar to get to work. After we got our tickets, the conductor gave us a token to put into the collection slot. The kids were really fasenated by the experience.
