Grooming one another (cleaning the hair of another chimp) is a major occupation among chimpanzees in a group.
I LOVE to "groom" my kids. Russell finds it a little disturbing that pick at my children's scalp, ears, toes, etc. I don't know why I do it. When I see something there, I just pick at it until its gone. I know, it is a gross obsession, but I can't help myself.
