After talking to a friend of mine today, I decided to take a new approach on getting thanked for a thankless job. She told me that she tells her husband exactly what she did that day and that she'd appreciate it if he noticed what she did.
So I called Russell and told him that when he came home from work that I'd appreciate it if he would notice that I did all of the laundry, folded it all and put it all away. He said that he'd be happy to.
